Parisian general practitioner, Miss France, television host… at only 33 years old, Marine Lorphelin has already lived a thousand lives. The beauty queen, whose little sister also became Miss, was the guest on the YouTube podcast “Les Lueurs” and opened up about her daily life and her past as Miss France 2013. Last January, she had already revealed on the show “Dinner with Sally” that she experienced a burnout during her “reign”: “At one point, I completely broke down. I had anxiety attacks due to lack of sleep and excessive stress.”
Her loved ones “missed her a lot”
Today, as a general practitioner, Marine Lorphelin is also a sports enthusiast. With her partner Stanislas Gruau, to whom she recently made a big declaration, she explains that she has totally fallen into it: “What makes me most excited in life is sports,” she asserts before confirming, “I am extremely sporty.”
More than just a physical activity, sports have become a moment of sharing with her loved ones. Extremely moved when talking about her relationship with her friends, the contributor to “Magazine de la santé” on France 5 burst into tears: “What makes me happiest is sharing time with my loved ones… With her partner, family, friends… the former Miss France cherishes these moments she shares with those she loves the most: “Because they really missed me during all these years,” she concludes with a hoarse voice.
She has found her happiness
Her partner, Stanislas Gruau, is also a big sports enthusiast and notably took part in the legendary Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc race in 2024. Together, the couple, who share their adventures on social media, sees sports as a social vector: “Doing sports, moving, is also what allows me to see the world, because when I embark on sports challenges, it’s sometimes to discover the world, nature, and connect with external elements.”
Behind the glitz and glamour of her Miss France life, Marine Lorphelin ultimately finds refuge in sports, with her family and friends. Currently living in Haute-Savoie, she savors each moment spent in the mountains. She shared her happiness on Instagram in March: “Is this not happiness? Being happy to eat alone in a hospital cafeteria, because nothing can take away the joy of having found my place. Here in Geneva and in Haute-Savoie. In sports medicine.”
