The body of Celeste Rivas was found dismembered and decomposed on September 8. The teenager had been missing for several months. Originally from Riverside County, southeast of Los Angeles, she disappeared at the age of 13. The police discovered the body after being called to a Hollywood tow yard by employees and neighbors complaining of a foul odor emanating from a car. According to investigators, the car had been parked in that upscale area of the city for nearly a month, not far from a recently opened Tesla restaurant by Elon Musk, before being towed.
“Obscene Sexual Acts”
The 21-year-old rapper faces a possible life sentence or even the death penalty, said magistrate Nathan Hochman. The charge of murder includes aggravating circumstances, such as “obscene sexual acts, lewd and lascivious acts with a person under 14, and mutilation of a corpse.”
This heinous murder has generated significant interest in the United States, especially because D4vd’s work seemed to mirror it. The young man rose to fame in 2022 when his song “Romantic Homicide” went viral on TikTok.
