The young conductor has chosen to leave in order to dedicate himself to his studies and music.
It’s a new chapter on the TF1 set. After seven months of undisputed domination, Cyprien decided to bid farewell on Sunday, April 19, 2026. With 212 appearances, the third greatest champion in the history of “Les 12 coups de midi” is leaving the show on his own terms, preferring music and studies over chasing records, with a colossal windfall of €861,337 in his pocket.
Music and studies before TV fame
For this young prodigy, the decision to leave was not dictated by defeat, but by a lifestyle choice. A student and orchestra conductor, Cyprien explained to Ouest France that he matured this departure to fully devote himself to his artistic career:
“It was time to leave and be able to focus on my end of the year, on music.”
Despite a hectic schedule between shootings and late-night catch-up classes, he refused to pause his professional ambitions, stating that the game, although it could “make my life easier,” should not become an obstacle to his passion for the Tadzio quartet and writing.
The departure was filled with palpable emotion, shared with Jean-Luc Reichmann who understood the importance of “making room for passion.” With his 8 mysterious stars collected, Cyprien is not only leaving with a historic jackpot, but also with a new maturity.
He reveals that his self-confidence has been completely transformed by the experience and the kindness of the audience. Now, the champion plans to use his winnings as an “accelerator of projects” to fund his future concerts and, perhaps, the publication of his poems and first novel.
