The vintage cars of the Aguttes Sale of the 2026 Tour Auto
Out of the 50 lots in this sale, 10 are cars, most of which are vintage. Let us present them all and you will see that this compact catalog is dense!
The largest one is a French car. It is a rally legend and a car that made headlines on the Tour de France Automobile, ancestor of the 2026 Tour Auto. The car is a Renault 5 Turbo, it is the ONLY existing Group 4 Calberson. The first homologated R5 Turbo, it was prepared by Renault F1, based in Anthony and not in Viry-Chatillon. It has improvements that predict the future Tour de Corse and Maxi. Jean Ragnotti, at the wheel of this car, won 6 specials in a row and led the 1980 Tour de France when the ignition let him down. The car also had the same kind of performance in Corsica where the alternator belt gave up. Later, this car was used as a mule before passing into the hands of several collectors who did not hesitate to engage it in the Tour de Corse Historique. Never restored, it is estimated between 400 and 600,000 Euros.
Another legend from the Tour de France Automobile is the Jaguar Mk2 3.8 from Bernard Consten and Annie Soisbault. With Consten, this factory-prepared car shone in the GT class and won the 1961 Tour de France, the 2nd of his 4 consecutive victories as a driver. With Annie Soisbault, it returned to the 1962 Tour de France before competing in the Tour de Corse, the Cevennes, and the Mont Ventoux. Well preserved, ready to go back to the Tour Auto, it is estimated between 180 and 240,000 Euros.
Another car closely linked to racing and offered in the catalog of the 2026 Aguttes Tour Auto Sale is the Lancia Stratos. Although it is a Stradale, it is a perfect car for regularity. It is in superb original condition and has spent the last 40 years in the same hands. It is estimated between 550 and 750,000 Euros.
The next car is a BMW 3.0 CSL “Gitane”. A true race car, built on a 2800CS base with a 3.5L M30 engine, it has been seen in many historic races in recent years, including the 2024 Tour Auto. Ready to return, it is estimated between 200 and 300,000 Euros.
We also have another car that could contend in the Tour Auto: a Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica. Finished in the 70s, already seen at the Le Mans Classic or at the Historic Pau Grand Prix (in F2 version), this car has a valid PTH. Estimated between 200 and 300,000 Euros.
Moving on to a 2014 ex-factory Ford Fiesta WRC. This authentic race car was driven by Miko Hirvonen in the second part of the 2014 season and then by Evans at the beginning of the 2015 season, finishing with 8 top 5 and 3 podiums in 10 rallies! Driven by Valentino Rossi at the 2014 Monster Energy Rally Show, he bought it and won the 2016 edition at the helm! Ready to race, estimated between 350 and 450,000 Euros.
Another Ford, a 1976 Bronco, former car of Gille Villeneuve! A true all-terrain vehicle with its 5-liter engine prepared. Never restored and still registered in the name of the Canadian, it is estimated between 50 and 80,000 Euros.
The last three cars in the catalog of the 2026 Aguttes Tour Auto Sale are sports cars. Starting in 1985 with an original Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3. It was then converted into a RUF BTR with a 5-speed gearbox, RUF brakes, lowered body and prepared engine. It has done little mileage in recent years and is estimated between 220 and 280,000 Euros.
Next is an Alpine A610. In addition to the Olympic series, Magny-Cours, and Le Mans, Alpine had thought of developing a series called Haute Couture focusing on customization. This Violine 884 car was intended to have a Yellow Lemon sister but the project never went into production. It will still be found in the caravans of the 1993 Tour Auto and the Tour de France cyclist before passing into the hands of two collectors. Now estimated between 60 and 100,000 Euros.
The last car offered is a 2008 Aston Martin DBS, in the style of the Casino Royale car. This superb car, sold new in France, has only 14,700km on the clock! Estimated between 165 and 205,000 Euros.
