On April 15, 2026, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Pham Duc Long joined a delegation led by Vice Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung to visit and collaborate with MK Vision, a company located in the Thang Long Industrial Park, Binh Xuyen commune, Phu Tho province. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the technological capabilities of the company and define strategic product development directions in the field of artificial intelligence cameras for Vietnamese businesses.
Also present at the meeting were the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Tho province Nguyen Huy Ngoc, representatives from the Government Office, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and departments and agencies of Phu Tho province.
MK Vision, established in 2020, specializes in researching and providing intelligent camera equipment and products using AI to meet national defense and civilian sector needs. The company has made significant progress in recent years, launching its first “Made in Vietnam” camera products in 2023.
MK Vision now has the capacity to produce up to 1.2 million products per year, covering the entire process from circuit board manufacturing to assembly and testing. The company has also exported its products to demanding markets like the US and UK, demonstrating the quality and international competitiveness of Vietnamese technology.
To support the development of high-tech industries, MK Vision has proposed mechanisms to promote cooperation between state, education, and enterprise sectors to enhance technological capabilities in Vietnam. The company also recommends strengthening support policies for related industries and prioritizing the use of Vietnamese technology products in public projects.
In conclusion, Vice Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung praised MK Vision’s efforts in technological research and development, highlighting the importance of strategic technological product development for national security, digital transformation, and industry competitiveness. He encouraged close collaboration between Phu Tho province and companies involved in strategic technological research and development to elevate Vietnamese technology internationally.
