N3. SP Milizac – GSI Pontivy, this Saturday at 5 pm

How did you make it to the French firefighters team?

Antoine Le Callonnec: I am a volunteer firefighter in Plumelec and have been on the French team for three years. I am about to make my 14th appearance. Wearing the French jersey, hearing the national anthem before each game, it’s a great feeling!

Titouan Guégan: On my side, I am a professional firefighter in Brest and have been on the French team since 2024. Whether pro or volunteer, it’s a pride to represent our profession internationally.

How do you see this final against England?

ALC: Two years ago, in France, we lost to the English team. We have a revenge to take. The team has improved. We have many players from N3, our captain played in N2 and even a teammate who played professionally in Saint-Étienne!

TG: I feel the team is ready for this championship, we are progressing. Everyone is naturally motivated and we will give everything to come back with the first place.

Your two clubs will face each other simultaneously.

ALC: It’s a special match. They will be seeking revenge for our victory at their place in the French Cup. My teammates will also be motivated because they are the only team that beat us in the championship. Furthermore, after our two recent draws, the guys will be highly motivated.

TG: We will follow the match from a distance. Milizac will do everything to take the three points, just like in the first leg. I trust my teammates to give their all, and I will be thinking of them.
