The association of the Cultural Heritage of the village invited the Mouxois vocal ensemble, La Petite Fugue, to perform in the municipal community center.
Around fifty music lovers came to attend this concert which offers a clever mix of melodious songs and conviviality.
Under the direction of the choir leader, Micheline Detolle, the artists interpreted a series of songs, starting with the title by Maxime Le Forestier that gave them their name and evokes “a memory of immense tenderness” for the group. The titles were then linked together through contextual and humorous introductions by Jean-Marie, leading the audience on this musical journey. The choir members traveled from Françoise Hardy’s “L’Amitié” to Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” through Nino Ferrer’s “Le Sud” and Michel Etcheverry’s “Une pointe d’accent,” sung a cappella. Throughout this musical escapade, the audience was invited to sing along, whether it was “L’envie d’aimer” by Pascal Obispo or “Au bout de mes rêves” by Jean-Jacques Goldman. The group took the opportunity to remind everyone: “No matter the obstacles. Stay on course. Follow your dreams to the end.”
A sense of camaraderie built up as the show progressed, with the audience sharing in the group’s intimacy through the presentations of its members and the genuine bond that emerged. The audience joyfully followed the whims of Micheline Detolle, from singing “Le dernier jour du disco” by Juliette Armanet in 2021, to moving on to the Creole medley, a friendly and colorful moment, aimed at “raising the temperature”!
Their performance was met with standing ovation and the concert-goers enthusiastically agreed with the praises offered by the choir leader to her team and “all her fantastic choristers.”
