On June 27th, Narbonne will host the Miss International France competition for the first time, marking its 76th edition in 2026. The organization responsible for organizing this year’s event is Les beautés de la couronne.
The Narbonne-based association Les Beautés de la Couronne will host the Miss International France 2026 competition on June 27th (at the OKbaret center, avenue de Lattre-de-Tassigny, exact time to be determined). The winner of this prestigious national competition, chosen by a panel of professionals, will have the honor of representing France at the global finale of Miss International (the 3rd largest worldwide beauty pageant after Miss Universe and Miss World) in Japan.
On the day of the event, contestants will have various rounds to compete in: in sportswear, cocktail dresses, swimsuits, and evening gowns. They will also face a jury question to assess their intellectual qualities. Registration for this national final in Narbonne has started this week, and organizers are looking for participants from all over France and the DOM-TOM territories.
Requirements to apply: be between 18 and 28 years old in 2026, be a French national and reside in France, be single with no children, have basic knowledge of English, not have posed nude, and tattoos are acceptable if concealable. There is no height requirement.
The registration fee is €120 for the first five registered participants and €150, covering all preparation for the competition (including virtual classes on makeup, hair styling, physical fitness, walking in heels, and mental coaching), outfit costs for the day of the event, and the trip to Japan for the new winner. Director of this prestigious competition since 2025, Sheryna Van Der Koelen, former contestant and current sports coach, expressed, “It is a true honor for us to select and support the French representative defending the colors of France in Japan. We will do everything in our power to prepare our candidate in the best way possible, so she embodies with elegance, authenticity, and determination the values we share.” She will personally conduct the sports and mental preparation classes for the participants and welcomes partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations for the event.
