Minsait (Indra Group) has renewed its collaboration with Serunion to continue evolving its digitization systems, which, thanks to a technological model based on the assessment and integration of relevant tools for the catering sector, improve the experience of professionals and diners.
The technology company, which has been working with the catering company for over 15 years, has renewed its partnership with the brand for an additional five years to support its expansion and enhance the efficiency of processes that directly impact the functions of its professionals and the service they provide to thousands of people daily.
Minsait manages more than 30 applications that support Serunion’s daily operations in areas such as logistics, human resources, site management, and activity planning. This increases the control and traceability of all processes, fundamental elements for a company of this size and reach.
Serunion, a part of the Elior group, one of the largest international operators in the catering sector, has over 133,000 employees, including 28,000 in Spain. In the country, it manages over 3,000 sites and serves nearly 500,000 meals daily in schools, universities, hospitals, residences, companies, and social centers.
To address the technological challenges of such a large enterprise, Minsait also maintains and develops Serunion’s mobile applications, used by its teams to enhance the efficiency of all operations.
These applications streamline the daily tasks of its employees, whether it’s planning and anticipating food purchases to reduce waste or maintaining control over the entire logistics chain, tracking the journey of ingredients from their source to the kitchens.
The collaboration between Minsait and Serunion has optimized customer service, with benefits like improved service deadlines, user communication, and menu personalization.
Emilio Mora, Global Director of Tourism and Catering at Minsait, expressed delight in renewing the collaboration with Serunion for five years. The accumulated experience will strengthen a stable technological model based on mutual trust to achieve the goal of optimizing the client’s work, facilitating employees’ tasks, and enhancing diners’ experience.
In the sector of catering service for hotels, businesses, schools, hospitals, and residences, Minsait undertakes technological projects in collaboration with major global groups. Aside from developing and evolving applications for various operations, the tech company offers cybersecurity services to protect infrastructure and sensitive data of thousands of employees, along with data and artificial intelligence solutions to automate processes.
The technology offered by Minsait to the catering sector includes various possibilities such as access to public concessions, financial and tax management through its digital system Sigefi, technological support for procurement, purchasing, and kitchen production, and the design of menus tailored to nutritional or health needs.
