Fifty hours after her disappearance, a 74-year-old woman from Issoudun was found alive by the gendarmes in the undergrowth near the railroad tracks of Issoudun. She was last seen on Saturday, April 4, 2026, around 2 p.m., according to the witness report issued the day following her disappearance. It was ultimately the scent of a Saint-Hubert dog from the Melun canine investigation group (Seine-et-Marne) that allowed the gendarmes to identify the search area on Monday, as explained by Chief Warrant Officer Cédric Philbois, commander of the Issoudun company.
The septuagenarian had wandered several meters away from her walker, far from any path.
