In the context of monthly contract signings for young people in Tarn-et-Garonne for the Army, the information and recruitment center for the armed forces of Tarn-et-Garonne organized, on Friday, April 3, in the meeting room of Maréchal Joffre, at 13 Avenue du 11e RI in Montauban, the ceremony for the signature of engagement contracts for seven young people, in the presence of Colonel Jérôme Christ and Major Laurent.
After a briefing by the major, followed by final recommendations before their integration into their units starting on Tuesday, Colonel Christ emphasized the specificity of the French army and the expectations for the recruits in the coming months: “Today, it is a strong commitment for the units you will join, for yourselves and for your country. A new life begins for you. The army is a structuring and exciting profession where you will learn a lot, including weapon handling and self-improvement. Sometimes it will be challenging, but nothing is insurmountable: with determination, everyone can succeed.”
