The second American pilot, who has been missing since his F-15 was shot down by Iranian forces, has been located, confirmed Donald Trump on Saturday night. “WE GOT HIM,” the U.S. president wrote on his Truth Social account. The military personnel is safe and sound, as Donald Trump further clarified.
“This courageous warrior was behind enemy lines, in the treacherous mountains of Iran, hunted by our enemies who were getting closer every hour, but he was never truly alone because his commander in chief, the Secretary of War, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his fellow fighters were monitoring his position 24/7 and diligently planning his rescue,” declared the American president.
“On my orders, the American military sent dozens of drones armed with the world’s deadliest weapons to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will recover well,” he added.
Donald Trump hailed what he described as a miraculous search and rescue operation, noting that the first pilot had also been rescued following a previous operation. “It is the first time in military memory that two American pilots have been saved separately in enemy territory. WE WILL NEVER ABANDON AN AMERICAN FIGHTER!” affirmed the U.S. president.
“These two rescues demonstrate the overwhelming aerial dominance and superiority of the United States in the Iranian sky,” Mr. Trump stated.
