The 21st edition of Sciences sur la Place continues its presence at the literary fair in Nancy, “Livre sur la Place,” taking place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at Place de la Carrière in Nancy.

The main purpose of the stand is to facilitate the meeting between scientific authors and the general public: presentation and sale of scientific works, author signings, and scientific discussions.

Call for participation: if you are a teacher-researcher, researcher, engineer, or administrative staff working in a research unit such as CNRS, Inserm, Université de Lorraine, or INRAE, and have published a scientific work with a publisher, you can register until Tuesday, April 28, 2026, to present your works at the Sciences sur la Place stand and hold a signings session through the mandatory form on the Sciences sur la Place website.

Participation modalities include having at least one book published after September 2025, works in French, limited to 3 titles per author, and falls under the categories of general public and youth.

After the registrations, a selection committee will gather to choose the works to be presented and create a schedule of activities and signings.

Common goals of Sciences sur la Place stand include promoting scientific publications to the public, generating interest in science among the general and young audience, showcasing public organizations and their multidisciplinarity, and providing a positive image of research in Lorraine.
