The Banana Man strikes at West Chester University yet again. This mysterious figure dressed in all black with a banana bandana has been showing up at students’ dormitories, devouring bananas in front of them. Concerned students have taken to social media platforms like YikYak and TikTok to express their fear and confusion over the unsettling encounters.

Reports of encounters with the Banana Man include instances of him eating a banana loudly in front of students’ faces, and even breaking into closed buildings like Sykes just to eat a banana in front of cameras. Despite concerns raised to Public Safety, there has been no official response, causing tension to rise on campus.

As speculation grows about the Banana Man’s intentions, some students worry that his actions may escalate in the lead up to West Chester University’s upcoming Banana Day festivities in April. With fears that the Banana Man may be planning something bigger and potentially disruptive, students are advised to take precautions during Banana Day, including dressing in yellow, chanting in support of the Banana Man, and safeguarding their ears from his ostentatious banana consumption.

As the campus remains on edge about the Banana Man’s next move, Elaina Caber, a second-year English Major at West Chester University, expressed concern about the uncertain situation and emphasized the importance of being prepared for unexpected encounters with the enigmatic figure.
