International Agriculture Fair 2026: three medals for the olive oils of the Moulin dEguilles

Two gold medals, one silver medal, olives, and smiles. “Here, it’s THE Moulin d’Éguilles,” enthuses Robin Serra-Tosio, 30 years old. Before 1956, four mills were turning in this town in the Aix country. Since then, only one remains: this one, now run by the Serra-Tosio family. A miller since 1995, Robin’s father climbed the ranks to become head miller. Along with his wife, also from the olive oil industry, they bought the mill in 2013. At that time, the activity only lasted three months a year and the couple kept another job on the side.

But Covid-19 changed things with the arrival of their son on the team. “I’ve always had a foot in the mill,” says Robin. “Working with family has always appealed to me. And it’s a unique job: producers bring you their raw material and you give them back their oil.” He officially joined the team in 2020 and developed direct sales, with the creation of a shop in 2021. His partner, Louise Daniel, 27 years old, also participates in the adventure. “It’s the four of us, it’s really a family business.”
