Between Trump and Maga influencers, the war is declared

It is a real diatribe of vitriol, “482 words long,” that Donald Trump addressed to his detractors Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones on his social network, Truth Social, on April 9, as reported by The New York Times. In this message directed against these influencers and podcasters of the Maga camp, the White House tenant does not hold back from hurling insults and personal attacks, notably stating:

“They all have one thing in common: they have a very low IQ. They are stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone knows it!”

While the disagreements between the American president and these conservative influencers have been brewing for some time, especially since the start of the military operation Epic Fury in Iran, it was the threats made by Donald Trump against Iran on April 7 that finally broke the camel’s back.

Taking back control of the Maga movement

Influencer Candace Owens wrote on the X platform: “Donald Trump is a genocidal maniac, our Congress and our military must intervene. We have exceeded the limits of madness.” Candace Owens, along with podcaster Alex Jones, have even joined the ranks of those “who have called for the impeachment of Donald Trump under the 25th amendment to the American Constitution,” which allows declaring the president unfit and stripping him of his duties in favor of the vice president, as reported by the New York daily.

As USA Today suggests, by taking on these media personalities more than harshly, Donald Trump is somewhat trying to put out the fire in the Maga camp before it spreads. Indeed, in his diatribe, the White House tenant emphasizes that “the bulk of the Maga movement’s troops are on his side” and accuses these conservative influencers of “seeking publicity at someone else’s expense.”

“No one talks about them, and their opinions are the opposite of those of the Maga camp – otherwise, I wouldn’t have WON A RESOUNDING VICTORY in the presidential election,” asserts the American president categorically, adding, “The Maga movement agrees with me.”

Candace Owens simply replied on the X platform: “It may be time to put grandpa in a retirement home.”
