An air of the Cannes Film Festival ahead of time… The international series festival in Cannes, Canneseries, opens its online ticketing this Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Screenings and meetings with the personalities of this ninth edition will animate the Croisette from April 23 to 28.
Climbing the red carpeted steps, screenings, meetings with the actors… The international series festival Canneseries is making its grand return for its ninth edition from April 23 to 28, 2026, in Cannes, France. The online ticketing, which is always free, is accessible to everyone at the same time. Fifteen days before the start of the festivities, tickets for the various screenings can be obtained starting at 11 am on Tuesday, April 7 on the festival’s website. For the first time, a distribution of tickets took place at the town hall for Cannes residents on Saturday, April 4. In previous years, access to online ticketing was open to them one day before.
The festival’s lineup was revealed on March 31. “For this 9th Season, the official selection will highlight eight series in competition, six short series in competition, and five documentary series in competition, all vying for one of the prestigious awards of the Canneseries Palmarès,” indicate the festival’s teams. An out-of-competition selection is also offered during this festival week. Two series out of competition will be honored for the start and end of the festival: the first episode of the series “Half Man” (UK) will be screened at the opening ceremony and the first episode of “California Avenue,” another British series, will close this ninth edition.
“For this 9th edition, and in a fragile and tense global context, CANNESERIES more than ever remains faithful to its values and mission: to offer everyone a series snapshot of the world in which we live,” said the Canneseries team in a statement. The screenings and “appointments” of the series take place at the Palais des Festivals. Among the personalities expected to walk the red carpet are the Spanish director Isabel Coixet (jury president), Simon Astier and Vincent Elbaz, members of the competition jury, Olivia Côte (president of the short series competition jury), Roman Doduik, Virginie Ledoyen, Victor Belmondo, Audrey Lamy, Eric Cantona, Claire Keim, Camille Chamoux, Blackpink’s singer Jisso, Richard Gaad, Adam Scott, and many others.
