The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes the Conference of Officials and Employees in 2026.

During the conference, Nguyen Minh Vu, a member of the Central Committee of the Party and the permanent Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, outlined the ministry’s tasks amid unprecedented global and regional changes since the Cold War, paving the way for a new phase of development in 2025.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been entrusted with a new mission by taking on the functions of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Central Committee and some tasks of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, becoming the coordinating body for foreign policy activities in the political system.

Acknowledged by the Party and state leaders, the ministry’s achievements have been instrumental in maintaining a stable and peaceful environment, mobilizing resources for development, and enhancing the country’s position. The Ministry has demonstrated its capabilities by proactively seizing opportunities, overcoming challenges, and successfully concluding the 13th National Congress with significant accomplishments.

Thanking all staff members, Vice Minister Nguyen Minh Vu encouraged continued contributions and improvements in living conditions to ensure a conducive working environment.

In his speech, Secretary Le Hoai Trung emphasized the importance of the conference in promoting democratic spirit, responsible contributions, and understanding of foreign policy and development goals, aligned with the Ministry’s functions and missions. He commended the Ministry’s achievements and contributions, highlighting discipline, excellence, and innovative thinking as key pillars for national competitiveness and development.
