In view of the upcoming transfer window, the leaders of Real Madrid have earmarked the name of a French international.
The central defense of Real Madrid is a major project that will need to be carried out during the next transfer window. The Madrid club is tracking Ibrahima Konate, but nothing is guaranteed yet. So the recruitment team has targeted another French international.
According to information from Fichajes, Real Madrid wants to secure the services of Maxence Lacroix. At 25 years old, the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges native has managed to make a name for himself at Crystal Palace. The central defender also earned his first call-up against Brazil on March 26th.
Behind Lacroix, there is tough competition from other top clubs. The former player of Sochaux-Montbeliard is being courted by Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich. With 28 appearances (one assist, two assists), Maxence Lacroix is under contract with the Eagles until June 2029.

A commentator for football matches, I have recently developed a passion for the EuroLeague of Basketball, where my favorite player is Facundo Campazzo.
