In Germany, the chancellor reportedly advised against war in Iran. According to the chancellor, a precise plan is needed to act, always within the framework of united European defense. This is what he will advocate for at the Brussels summit (Belgium) on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Russia condemns the strikes on a nuclear power plant, the only one operational in Iran, which was targeted by a missile. There were no deaths or major damage, but Russian nationals were working there. “This missile attack hit inside the nuclear power plant, just a few meters away from a unit in operation. It is irresponsible and totally unacceptable,” denounced Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency called for restraint to avoid any nuclear disaster.
