The United States announced on Friday, March 13, that they will offer a reward of $10 million for information regarding the fate of Iranian leaders, specifically targeting the Revolutionary Guards, the ideological army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The call targets both Mojtaba Khamenei, the new Supreme Leader, and the head of security Ali Larijani, according to a statement issued by the U.S. State Department. The Iranian Minister of Interior, Eskandar Momeni, and the Minister of Intelligence and Security, Esma’il Khatib, are also among the ten individuals listed by the State Department.

“These individuals command and direct various elements of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which plans, organizes, and carries out terrorist acts worldwide,” the State Department stated. It encourages potential informants to send information via Signal, stating, “Your information could qualify you for relocation and reward.”

Questions about his health status Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, who has been in power since 1989, was reportedly killed in an attack on February 28 at the start of the war. He was replaced by his son Mojtaba, but speculations about his health status continue following announcements by state television and some officials that he had been injured in the attacks.

A message with no video or audio content was broadcast. The United States and Israel have reported killing several Revolutionary Guard officials since the start of military operations on February 28.
