After the difficulties faced by Fnac and Visa, the presale organized via Ticketmaster by the venue hosting the concerts of Canadian star Celine Dion seems to be proceeding smoothly despite a long queue.
Presale day 3, but no crash. While several fans feared a new technical issue on the Paris La Defense Arena and Ticketmaster website on Thursday, April 9, shortly after the presales for Celine Dion’s concerts from September 12 to October 17 opened at 10 am, the sale appears to have gone without major issues. All the tickets allocated for this period were sold out shortly before 2 pm.
Among the thousands of people connected, Claire, for example, managed to secure two tickets after a previous failure during the Visa presale. But others faced the queue: “I have been connected since 8:45 am and I am only 74,000th,” laments Camille. The 30-year-old persevered after failing the day before during the Visa sale. An hour after the start of the presale for Visa Premium and Visa Premier cardholders, she could only find tickets for 700 euros.
A bug at Fnac since Tuesday
This operation somewhat pleases the fans who were getting disheartened by not being able to get tickets. Since the opening of presales on Tuesday morning, hitches have multiplied. During the “artist” presale, open only by lottery, the Fnac site, one of the official partners for ticketing, also experienced a bug for over an hour around 10 am when the sale started.
However, this did not prevent the lucky ones from buying their tickets in the morning and in the afternoon, during the second wave of sales, after the opening of six new additional dates, in addition to the ten announced on March 30 by the singer of “Pour que tu m’aimes encore.”
A presale on Visa that drew criticism
The next day, as it was the turn of the Visa presale to delight fans, the bugs multiplied. Whether in the morning for Visa Infinite or in the afternoon for Visa Premier and Premium, the site was inaccessible for long minutes, which led to numerous criticisms and vehement comments from internet users.
There is still a chance for fans of the star to grab a ticket during the general sale taking place this Friday at 10 am. However, they will need to be quick as, according to our information, only a few thousand tickets will be available.
