On Wednesday, March 31st, at the Maison du projet, the Mission locale du Luberon du Pays des Sorgues et des Monts de Vaucluse organized a round table discussion “Discovering defense and security professions”, in partnership with the national police, the gendarmerie, and the information and recruitment center for the Air Force.
During this meeting, 17 young people were able to interact with professionals and discover the variety and range of defense and security professions: protection, chef, nurse, logistician, civil engineer, military engineer, auto mechanic, aviation mechanic, gendarme, intelligence operator.
“Active participation from our young people, marked by numerous questions, enabled rich, fluid, and constructive exchanges. The partners also expressed their satisfaction, particularly through the interest shown by the young people,” commented Laetitia Braquet, facilitator at the Isle-sur-la-Sorgue office.
The Mission locale du Luberon du Pays des Sorgues et des Monts de Vaucluse carries out a public service mission with a key objective: to support young people aged 16 to 25 years old (up to 29 years old for those with disabilities) in their professional and social integration journey, aiming for their access to employment and autonomy.
