The regime manages to stay at the helm of the country while Americans have recently talked about a potential change in power.
Appearing on LCI on Tuesday, March 31, Aida Tavakoli, a doctoral student and president of the “We Are Iranian Students” association, thinks that the Iranian regime is still not defeated politically. “Its position is strengthened. We see that the world’s most powerful army failed to topple the regime. We also see that its strategy of significantly increasing the cost of this war, not just for Americans but for the whole world, is working,” said this Franco-Iranian.
According to Aida Tavakoli, the Iranian regime has no intention of giving in. “It is still in place, weakened but extremely aggressive and ready to do anything to remain in power and kill as many Iranian civilians as necessary,” she continued on LCI.

Moreover, the president of the “We Are Iranian Students” association believes that the Iranian population is overlooked in this conflict. “What we fail to do is obviously to take into account the wishes of the 90 million Iranians, who have a clear political project. We do not work with them,” says Aida Tavakoli.
