Céline Dion confirmed her return to the stage this Monday, March 30th, where she will perform ten shows at the Paris La Défense Arena in the fall. But how much will it cost to see the singer?

Céline Dion is back. Since Monday, March 23, numerous posters with the titles of her biggest songs have been popping up in the capital. The singer also deleted all her Instagram posts, hinting at a big announcement. Last week, she posted four photos of herself at different times in the French capital with the enigmatic phrase: “I don’t know how to tell you…”. On Monday, March 30, her 58th birthday, Céline Dion put an end to the suspense by confirming her big return to the stage in September and October, for ten shows at the Paris La Défense Arena.

As reported by Le Parisien, Céline Dion is expected to perform on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Paris La Défense Arena, specifically on September 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, and 30, and then on October 3, 7, 10, and 14. But what about ticket prices? According to Paris Match, while ticket prices were expected to be “prohibitively expensive,” on the singer’s website, you will need to spend between 89.50 euros and 298.50 euros, excluding VIP packages and other “tickets + hotel” offers to hope to see the Canadian star. The newspaper also specifies that “each fan can buy a total of six tickets, on several dates.” As of Monday, March 30, fans can pre-register on the singer’s official website, celinedion.com. The luckiest ones will be selected through a draw and will receive an email and an access code to participate in the presale, which is set to start on Tuesday, April 7 at 10 a.m. For others, mark your calendars for April 10 at 10 a.m. to access the general ticketing.

Céline Dion’s Return to the Stage: Why She Chose Paris

The decision by Céline Dion to make her grand return to Paris is not a coincidence. The last time the artist performed in the capital was in 2017. Although she had planned to come back in 2020, she ultimately canceled her visit due to Covid-19, before delivering a magnificent performance at the Olympics in July 2024 by singing Edith Piaf’s “L’Hymne à l’amour” atop the Eiffel Tower. The singer has always had a strong connection with the city, as reported by Paris Match, it is the first city outside of Canada to have “consecrated her.” She made her debut in France on the Olympia stage in 1984. According to Le Figaro, Céline Dion’s return to the stage in Paris is shaping up to be a real jackpot for the capital. While the economic impact of Beyoncé’s European concerts at the Stade de France is estimated at 250 million euros today, that of Céline Dion could, according to our colleagues, “exceed one billion euros.”
