(Washington) Donald Trump announced Sunday night that the US military is building a “huge military complex” beneath the grand ballroom he is having built at the White House.

“Currently, the military is constructing a large complex under the ballroom… everything is going very well, we are even ahead of schedule,” the head of state declared from his plane returning from his weekend in Florida, showing plans of the ballroom to the press.
“The ballroom actually serves as a shelter for everything built below by the military, including drones or other things,” he continued.
He added that this had “recently leaked due to a ridiculous lawsuit” filed against the construction site.
In October, the former real estate developer bulldozed an entire wing of the presidential headquarters in Washington.
He plans to build a ballroom capable of accommodating up to 1000 people, for various receptions and dinners in honor of foreign dignitaries.
Donald Trump frequently discusses these works, which have been the subject of numerous criticisms.
“We are using onyx and incredible stones,” he recently said at a press conference partly dedicated to the war in the Middle East.
The project, one of the most ambitious undertaken on this famous site in over a century, has been rapidly expanding. Its budget, funded by private donations, has increased from $200 million to $400 million.
