The president of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, has stated that the United States publicly talks about negotiations while secretly planning a ground attack against Iran.

Speaking to the public on the occasion of the first month of the conflict triggered by the American-Israeli airstrikes against Iran, Qalibaf praised the resistance of the armed forces and the population against the attacks, declaring that the country is “at the heart of a great world war.”

“Have no doubt about the determination of your soldiers and servants; they are stronger than mountains, fiercer than fire, and more formidable than lightning for the enemy,” he emphasized.

Calling on Iranians to continue their protests in the streets, Qalibaf added, “With the permission of Allah, we will make this war a lesson for every aggressor.”

Regarding Washington’s calls for negotiation, he said, “The enemy is sending messages of dialogue in the public opinion, but secretly preparing a ground attack. They do not know that our men are waiting for American soldiers to land to set them on fire and punish their regional allies forever. Our missiles are ready, our faith is strengthened, and we know the weaknesses of the enemy as well as the effects of fear in their ranks.”

Qalibaf also mentioned a proposal conveyed to Iran via Pakistan, containing fifteen American conditions: “In recent days, we have heard conflicting statements from American officials about negotiations. Americans hope to achieve through diplomacy what they could not win through war. But as long as they want Iran to surrender, the response from your children will be clear and firm. Humiliation is far from us.”
