Negotiations between Iran and the United States continue on the 26th day of the conflict. In the night from the 24th to the 25th of March, the American president claimed to have received a strong signal from Tehran: “Iran has offered us a gift, and the gift has arrived today. It’s a very big gift, equivalent to a lot of money. It’s related to the Strait of Hormuz,” said the American president.

Iran has indeed announced easing the pressure in the strait, but no ship seems to have officially crossed it yet. In a statement, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared: “Non-hostile ships can, provided they do not participate in acts of aggression against Iran, benefit from safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.”

According to several media outlets, the United States has submitted a 15-point peace plan to Iran, while preparing to continue the fight. Three thousand American paratroopers could be deployed soon in the Middle East.
