Trump Supporters Urged to Boycott “Overpriced and Useless” Bruce Springsteen Concerts
President Trump recently criticized singer Bruce Springsteen on his Truth Social platform, calling him a “mediocre and boring” artist who looks like a “dried-up prune” and has an “incurable anti-Trump disorder.” Trump went on to suggest that his supporters should boycott Springsteen’s “overpriced and useless” concerts while praising his own political track record.
Escalating Tensions During the Tour
At 76 years old, Springsteen kicked off his tour in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a focal point for the anti-immigration movement and resistance to the Republican government. Amidst protests dubbed “No Kings,” the artist criticized Trump as “corrupt, incompetent, racist, irresponsible, and treacherous.” Springsteen then performed his song “Streets of Minneapolis,” dedicated to Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were killed by federal agents during immigration-related police operations.
His “Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour” will visit around twenty US cities until May 27. A few days later, Donald Trump will celebrate his 80th birthday with a MMA fight event at the White House.
