On March 29, 2026, Gareth Liron published an article about Coutances Mer et Bocage launching their summer camp program for 2026, following the successful hosting of 700 children in 2025.
The program offers 44 days in July and August, with options ranging from two-day stays to week-long experiences for both children and teenagers. The camps will all be located in the Manche region, including Coutances, Gouville-sur-Mer, Cerisy-la-Salle, Hambye, Quettreville-sur-Sienne, and Saint-Sauveur-Villages.
Coutances Mer et Bocage promises a hands-on experience for participants, where they will be involved in preparing meals, organizing daily activities, and evening events, rather than a traditional all-inclusive tour.
Each day of the program has a unique theme, such as “Les Musicos en herbe” for budding musicians from July 9 to 10. There are also opportunities for camping and horseback riding experiences with music instrument discovery and equestrian activities.
Reservations for the program open on May 11 at 8:00 PM. Families can book their spots on the Coutances Mer et Bocage website’s family portal. The program is eligible for the CAF Children’s Vacation Assistance.
