Thanks to this success, Cédric Deubel’s “hop growers” have surpassed their opponents of the day and are therefore in sixth place in the National 2 group B before the confrontation with FC Chambly/Oise, expected at the Parc des sports on Saturday, March 7 (6:00 p.m.).
The teams operating in the levels governed by the League of Grand Est have experienced diverse fortunes. While FR Haguenau 2, 10th in R1, secured a breath of fresh air by defeating SSEP Hombourg-Haut (3-2), things did not improve for FCE Schirrhein, 12th in R1, overwhelmed by US Sarre-Union (3-0), and FC Drusenheim, 11th in R2, shaken by AS Hoerdt (0-2).
US Wittersheim, 4th in R3, also suffered a defeat despite putting up a good fight against the leader Saverne (1-2), as did US Kaltenhouse/Marienthal (6th in R3), who were too weak against FC Steinseltz (2-1). On the other hand, FC Schweighouse, 8th in R3, fulfilled its contract at the expense of AS Neudorf (4-2).
