Our prediction: Rennes beats Metz (1.33)
Rennes saw their four-game winning streak come to an end when they hosted Lille (2-1). However, the Bretons bounced back well and are now just four points off the 4th place. This afternoon’s match seems ideal to bounce back and continue to apply pressure. Bottom-placed FC Metz has very little hope of staying in Ligue 1 with a fourteen-point gap from the 15th but is only six points behind Auxerre in the relegation playoff spot. However, I don’t see the Grenats holding up against Rennes and therefore suggest a Breton victory with odds of 1.33 to place in an accumulator.
