It was a difficult, even dark, weekend for the five Gers teams involved in Regional 3, where only the Auch reserve team managed to avoid defeat. Even the undefeated leader, Sainte-Christie Preignan, stumbled.

Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave 4 – AS Fleurance La Sauvetat 1 (HT: 2-1). Referee: Mr. Ulesie. For Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave: Lecuyer (28th), Diarra (44th, pen), Fossaluzza (55th) and Chaubet (65th). For ASFLSC: Cazeneuve (37th).

The Fleurantins are still struggling away from home, as they once again return with a bitter loss from Tarn-et-Garonne. Despite dominating, the Gersois conceded a first goal to Lecuyer. However, the Fleurantins got back into the game as Cazeneuve equalized with a clear free-kick just before half-time. With the game heading towards a draw (1-1) at half-time, a needless foul gave Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave a penalty, which Diarra converted. The morale of the Lomagnols took a hit, and in the second half, they succumbed to the relentless attacks of the hosts, conceding two more goals. The dark patch continues for ASFLS, bottom of the group (9 pts).

Starting lineup ASFLS: Lechner, Carrere, Banabera, Pepet, Cazeneuve, Dupont, Labat, Claverie, Lafargue, Maloney, Correia. Substitutes: Jousse, Casoni, Montousset.

Seysses-Frouzins II 2 – FC L’Isle-Jourdain 1 (HT: 1-0). Referee: Mr. Barou. For Seysses-Frouzins II: 26th and 60th. For FCL: Delenclos (76th).

In this match, the hosts played at a higher level than the Gersois, who especially lost the battle in midfield. The Lislois had few offensive opportunities and failed to capitalize on those they had. Seysses-Frouzins II’s dominance resulted in a goal in each half, with the Gersois only reducing the deficit towards the end of the match. L’Isle-Jourdain (5th, 20 pts) suffers a second consecutive defeat.

Starting lineup FCL: Tiar, Escoula, Camara, Fois, Comere, Bouzin, Carreira, Sabi, Sere, Combes, Alickaj. Substitutes: Delenclos, Saulnier, Bega.

The AS Fleurance LS once again falls away from home, this time in Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave.

FC Mas 31 2 – FC Pavie 1 (HT: 0-0). Referee: Mr. Moussaoui. For Mas31: 85th and 90th. For FCP: Claverie (88th).

A very frustrating result for Pavie in terms of the scenario, as a draw could have been fair. The Gersois’ performance was very serious, following instructions almost perfectly. Although some technical errors prevented them from truly threatening the opposition, the Old-Bridge residents responded well defensively. FCP (10th, 11 pts) thought they had done enough by equalizing late in the game, but FC Mas 31 snatched the win at the last minute!

Starting lineup FCP: Laborie, Lacaze, Galiana, Brouste, Claverie, Davasse, Barei, Eutique, Gutierrez, Delcro, Pau. Substitutes: Callegari, Delaporte, Loubens.

Auch Football II 2 – EFC de la Vallée 2 (HT: 2-2). Referee: Mr. Agenor-Fono. For Auch II: Hassani B. (12th), Hassani S. (17th). For EFCV: 41st, 45th.

A game full of twists, as Dalzovo’s men quickly found the net twice in the first twenty minutes. But the visiting team did not give up, equalizing just before half-time with two quick goals. The Lionceaux (11th, 10 pts) had to start over, and in the second half, defenses prevailed over attacks.

Starting lineup Auch II: Picarougne, Mediamole, Fitte, Garcia, Idiata, Ferreol, Cabos, Thomas, Hassani S., Hassani B., Ousseni. Substitutes: Volpato, Mailhou, Mamputu.

Sainte-Christie Preignan AS 1 – Séméac 2 (HT: 0-1). Referee: Mr. Ozturk. For SCPAS: Carrere A. (45th). For Séméac: Delgado (29th), Chikhi (51st).

First defeat of the season for SCPAS, who still retains their top spot in the standings. [Context: SCPAS suffered their first loss but are still leading the league.]
