Despite showing some improvement in recent weeks, Reims Volley 51 was easily dominated on Saturday night at their René Tys complex. In the derby against Saint-Quentin, the Reims team had a good start before facing a setback in the middle of the first set. This physical blow was costly for them. They tried to bounce back in the following set but couldn’t equalize. Trailing by two sets, the players coached by Alexis Farjaudon then struggled against the Axonais in the third set. Showing better control against the less consistent and less athletic Reims team, SQVB logically emerged victorious. Reims remains in 8th place in the Ligue B.
