Mohamed Sadani, an iconic coach with a solid reputation, left his position as coach of Sporting Club de Toulon (National 2) last February. It was the first time in his 29-year coaching career that he ended a collaboration mid-season.
After leaving Toulon, Sadani kept his promise to help La Cayolle club without compensation. La Cayolle is fighting to avoid relegation in Regional 2.
La Cayolle had a mixed March, with a draw against former leader St Tropez and a win against Arles, but a loss to Mouans-Sartoux. Coach Christophe Denis acknowledged the team’s inconsistency and emphasized the importance of the remaining four matches as finals.
The next match against FC Mougins will be crucial for both teams, with La Cayolle needing a win to stay in R2. Denis emphasized the importance of every detail and the team’s need to be consistent and serious.
Sadani volunteered to help La Cayolle as promised, despite receiving offers from national teams across France. He chose to remain loyal to the region.
With a history of coaching at several clubs, Sadani is expected to receive more offers in the future. Currently, he is taking his time without any pressure, confident in his ability to bounce back.
