Jānis Gailītis: “We can’t play at full intensity all the time, we have to accept that. It’s the nature of sports, with ups and downs. We can’t give our all constantly. But we try to do our best, make different decisions. Sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. There are mistakes, it happens. Today, we need to do better. We need to take better care of our game, control, decision-making, technique. The way we play is crucial. It’s not just about physical strength, but understanding the game, emotions too.”

Mike Davis Jr: “It’s true that it was tough towards the end of the match. It’s a bit frustrating, but it’s one of those moments where you know you have to improve. After a match like that, you really need to think about how to finish better. The most important thing is to keep growing and progressing. The goal is to finish the season in the best possible way. We had our ups and downs during the match, but I think we showed that we can still improve. It was a tough match, but I know we have the capability to do better, and we need to learn from our mistakes. In the first quarter, we played well. We had good phases, but then we lost energy. Maybe we stagnated a bit. After that, we missed some important shots, which affected our game. But it was a combination of factors that led the match to turn the other way. We lost rhythm and couldn’t recover. But we know we have to keep fighting until the end. The season is still long, and by finishing each match stronger, we will really see our progress.”
