AlpsMan Expands to Lombardy with New Xtrem Triathlon Event

In June 2026, AlpsMan will mark a milestone as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Annecy lake race and expands its reach to Lombardy with the creation of AlpsMan Ponte di Legno by The Stone.

This new event beyond our borders will feature an Xtrem Triathlon and a Half AlpsMan around Lake Iseo, mirroring the famous French race.

Athletes will start from a boat and pass the iconic bell at the twentieth kilometer, marking the distinction between Stone Finishers, who will finish at the summit of Passo Paradiso, and Wood Finishers who will complete their journey in Ponte di Legno.

A Human Adventure at the Heart of Lombardy

Pierre-Yves Gerland, co-organizer, explained that the decision to expand was rooted in the desire not to increase the number of participants in Annecy for environmental and human reasons. He found in Italy a setting perfectly in line with the brand’s identity. “In Lombardy, there is this beautiful lake, dreamy mountains, and the opportunity to offer two finish lines,” he said.

He noted that the spirit of the event will remain the same: “More than just a race or a time trial, we offer a day of adventure together.”
