Goalkeepers showed remarkable performances despite a low-scoring Fantasy day, with two of them even winning the Player of the Match award. David Raya confirmed his popularity with more than 40% ownership, making five saves and keeping a clean sheet in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Sporting CP, earning ten points. Manuel Neuer also stood out with nine saves in Bayern Munich’s 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, finishing with seven Fantasy points.
Among the four starting goalkeepers, two did not concede a goal: Juan Musso and Matvei Safonov. Musso made seven saves in Atletico’s 2-0 win against Barcelona, earning eight points, while Safonov secured six points with a clean sheet for Paris Saint-Germain.
In defense, Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, and Matteo Ruggeri delivered strong performances in the Fantasy game, with Ruggeri leading the way with ten points due to an assist, three recoveries, and a clean sheet. Gabriel and Nahuel Molina also impressed with significant contributions.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia continued his fine form with 11 points after scoring for Paris against Liverpool. Paris midfielders Désiré Doué and João Neves also excelled, while Bayern midfielders Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise provided crucial assists. In the attacking department, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé found the back of the net, with Julián Alvarez shining with another strong performance.
Alvarez’s teammate Alexander Sørloth scored off the bench, and Kai Havertz also made an impact with a goal for Arsenal. Overall, the first leg of the quarter-finals provided exciting Fantasy performances from players across different positions.
