European League: Montpellier Handball eliminates Elverum and qualifies for the quarterfinals

Despite a 35-31 loss in the return leg, Montpellier Handball eliminates the Norwegian club Elverum and advances to the quarterfinals of the European Handball League. They will face Vardar Skopje, just like in the old days of the Champions League. Montpellier, finalists last year, will take on the Macedonian club Vardar Skopje in the quarterfinals, a team that has won the Champions League twice before.
