Regulars of a direct competitor to Basic-Fit have likely noticed a new fitness chain in Europe setting up shop recently in Montgermont, northwest of Rennes. This new Basic-Fit gym, the 37th in Brittany, opened on Monday, March 2nd, just 200 meters from a Fitness Park in a commercial area along Furniture Road.
“Making fitness accessible to everyone”
This opening aligns with the brand’s strategy: “Basic-Fit aims to make fitness accessible to the widest range of people by adapting it to each individual’s lifestyle.”
With the ambition to encourage a majority of French people to regularly engage in physical activity, the brand’s mission is to make fitness a simple essential and improve the well-being of all.
The premises cover an area of 1,600 square meters with seven training zones offering cardio, strength, functional training, free weights, and cycling areas.
All members also have free access to the mobile app, which allows them to continue their sessions at home through videos, participate in virtual group classes at home, follow a training program or nutritional plan, and engage with the virtual assistant.
