This weekend, MAS 31 is organizing its Easter tournament, bringing together more than 144 teams. This makes it one of the most important in the region.

The Football Club MAS 31 (Mondonville, Seilh, and Aussonne) is organizing its traditional Easter national tournament on Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th at the Aussonne sports complex. Over the years, this event has become a major gathering for amateur football, establishing itself as one of the most important youth tournaments in the region.

Throughout the weekend, over 50 clubs and 144 teams will be taking the fields in Aussonne.

Teams from the southern half of France, from Nouvelle-Aquitaine to the PACA region through Occitanie, will be participating. From Agen to Istres, Thuir to Albi, this geographic diversity reflects the growing reputation of the tournament. “Every year, we are very proud to see so many clubs traveling hundreds of kilometers to come to Aussonne. This proves that our tournament is recognized and appreciated,” said Gilles Galinier, the organizer.

The tournament includes categories U6 to U14. The younger players will compete in plateaus without ranking, while the older categories will have real competitions, with formats inspired by the Champions League or Europa League. All participants will be rewarded, in a spirit of conviviality and fair play cherished by the club.

In terms of organization, everything is designed to offer maximum comfort to the teams and families. Results and information will be accessible in real-time via a dedicated platform, allowing to follow the matches’ progress and respect a precise schedule.

Behind the scenes, nearly 80 volunteers will be mobilized throughout the weekend to ensure the reception, catering, logistics, and security. Official referees from the Occitanie Football League and the Haute-Garonne district will also be present to oversee the matches.

A highlight for the youngest participants, the mascot “Lapinou” will once again be present. Represented throughout the tournament, it will take part in animations and award ceremonies, adding a festive touch to the event. Coming from the merger of the clubs of Mondonville, Aussonne, and Seilh, “FC MAS 31 continues a tradition of over 35 years through this tournament,” concludes the tournament’s organizer. A sporting but also human event that helps promote amateur football well beyond the local territory.
