On Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 23:02, Aurélie Sacchelli from Media365 reported that Paris Basketball dominated Virtus Bologna (82-103) in a match of the 33rd round of the Euroleague. Both teams were already eliminated from the play-in race, and Paris Basketball’s victory allowed them to move ahead of Virtus Bologna in the standings.

The beginning of the game was close, with Paris initially taking a six-point lead (7-13) before Bologna turned the tables and won the first quarter 20-19. In the second quarter, the lead changed hands multiple times on the scoreboard, but starting from 33-34 (15th minute), the French champions took control and never relinquished it.

The gap between the teams widened to +27 as Paris gradually increased their lead to +8 (43-51) and ultimately +6 by halftime (47-53). When play resumed, Virtus managed to equalize at 54-54 and then at 58-58, but Paris finished the third quarter strongly with a 12-3 run, including two long-distance shots by Justin Robinson and Yakuba Ouattara (63-76, 30th minute). The victory was sealed in the final quarter with ease, as Parisians launched a 16-0 run (including two 3-pointers by Sebastian Herrera) to secure a 21-point win.

Nadir Hifi led Paris with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, while three of his teammates also scored 14 points each (Robinson, Ouattara, Herrera). Paris’ 45% three-point shooting accuracy, compared to 24% for the Italians, made a significant difference in the game.

Paris now has four more games left to achieve the highest possible position in the standings, with their next opponent being Milan (13th) at the Adidas Arena this Thursday.

Leading scorers for Paris: Hifi (20), Cavalière (4), Robinson (14), Herrera (14), Rhoden (5), Ayayi (3), Faye (4), Shahrvin (4), Morgan (6), Ouattara (14), Hommes (9), Willis (3)
