At 23 years old, Baptiste Peytavi, the solid Catalan second row (1.96 m, 112 kg), has just signed with Ceret Sportif Vallespir, his training club.
A pure product of Ceret, Peytavi played for Stadoceste Tarbais, but the Pyrenean club, competing in National 1, has just forfeited their games in general.

A quick rise and then a fall… After a strong start in Fédérale 3, the Millas team has recently faced a tough end to their season.
Promoted this season, Laurent Bosch’s men saw their hopes of staying in the league disappear last Sunday at home against their Ille-et-Vilaine neighbors (15-24) and will return to Regional 1 next season.

Nicolas Bruzy remet ça
The former player of RC Toulon, USAP, Rumilly, and Ceret, Nicolas Bruzy, 51 years old and former coach of Thuir and Prades, joined the green and white club four years ago as a coach.
Recently settled with his wife and children in the village, he has just agreed with the board to continue leading the team in 2026-2027.

Deux Catalans vice-champions de France
Silver weekend for two runners from the Pyrénées-Orientales.
Luisa Arabito (49 years old), also a former European karate champion, and Thierry Mignot (46 years old), secured second place in the French short trail championships in Bedoin (Vaucluse).
The two residents of Running 66 completed the 29 km race in 3.03 hours (Arabito) and 2h17 (Mignot) respectively.

The P-O region shines by securing five out of six possible podiums at the academic level.
Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts school clinches their first title and will compete in their first national final in June.
On the other hand, Perpignan Jeanne-d’Arc confirms their consistency with a second consecutive vice-champion title after 2025.
And Perpignan’s Jean-Jacques Rousseau school returns to the podium, following their victories in 2023 and 2024.
