Mars Anh Tơ, a member of the Quách Thanh Danh Group, is one of the most prolific fathers in Vietnamese entertainment with five children: four daughters and one son – Linh Nhi, Ngọc Hồng, Lâm Phương, Tơ My, and Bắc Bách Hỷ. His children come from different marriages: Linh Nhi from a college romance; Ngọc Hồng and Lâm Phương from wushu champion Thơy Hiền; and Phọc Minh and Tơ My from his current wife, singer Lam Trang.
Tơ Dễ Đả is proud that most of his children have inherited their father’s artistic talent. His eldest, Linh Nhi, studies singing at the Military Academy of Arts, while Ngọc Hồng studies singing at the Hanoi Arts College. Despite initial hesitations, fearing that a large family would affect his finances and schedule, he eventually yielded to his wife’s wishes and welcomed a fifth member into the family.

Quách Thanh Danh and his wife Bảo Ngọc have five children: Mạc Nhiên, Hồ Nhiên, An Nhiên, Phương Nhiên, and Tuấn Nhiên. They lived together for eleven years before marrying in late 2023 because Bảo Ngọc was giving birth to a child every one or two years. Their journey has been fraught with challenges; their youngest was born with a congenital heart defect, requiring treatment that could cost up to 40 billion dongs. Luckily, they were insured. Despite this, they never considered their children a burden and always strived to take care of them and provide for them.
Quách Thanh Danh shared that two days before a show, he usually prepares eight or nine dishes that he keeps in the refrigerator because his children only like to eat what he cooks. He said, “It’s work, but it’s a pleasure; it’s what makes me happy.”
Ly Hai: The billionaire director and humble father
Ly Hai and Minh Ha were married in 2010 and have four children: Rio (2011), Cherry (2013), Sunny (2014), and Mio (2016). Despite their considerable fortune from the film series “Lat Mat,” their parenting philosophy is very simple. They instill independence in their children from a young age, send them to public schools like everyone else, and do not spoil them. Their clothes and toys are chosen for comfort, without extravagance.
One day Ly Hai said, “I prefer to teach my children survival skills rather than give them money. I want to impart life experience to them so that, even in the absence of their parents, they can fend for themselves.”
