The “Histoires & Crapahutes” hiking film festival focuses on adventure and human emotions through three exclusive films. In its third edition, a stop will be made at the Pax cinema in Lourdes.
Since 2024, Jérémie Poizat and Philippe Donadille have created “Histoires & Crapahutes.” This traveling festival showcases three films revolving around the theme of hiking, presented in various cinemas. This year, for the first time, a screening will take place in Lourdes. Philippe Donadille, co-founder and one of the festival’s hosts, provides insights about the project.
The festival’s main focus is not just about performance but about sharing human stories through the films presented. The emphasis is on human adventure, narratives, and emotions. Each screening lasts about 2 hours and 45 minutes, featuring three films. The audience votes for their favorite film, and at the end of the tour, a public award is given based on the compiled votes.
The three films featured this season include “Une montagne d’espoir,” “Un sentier à soi,” and “Via Alpina, sur les pas des pionnières,” each exploring different aspects of human experiences in challenging environments.
For the first time, the festival will be held in Lourdes on April 8th at the Pax cinema, continuing at other locations like Lannemezan on April 10th and Luchon on April 11th. More information about the festival can be found on www.histoirescrapahutes.com.
