On Saturday, March 28, 2026, the members of the Swing 22 association in Plémet, near Loudéac (Côtes-d’Armor), are organizing an exceptional evening. They will host one of the biggest jazz groups, the Paris Swing Orchestra.

Founded in 1997, the Paris Swing Orchestra has become a recognized institution at both national and international levels. The group, located in Plémet, is supported by the Swing 22 team, which includes Martine Chevaucherie, president and wife of musician Gilles Chevaucherie, along with Yvon Rolland, Sylviane Lozac’h, Mireille Treussard, and Michelle Roncin.

Passionate about jazz, they focus their repertoire on iconic pieces from famous “big bands” of the 1930s and 1940s, such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Django Reinhardt.

The Paris Swing Orchestra is known for its unique style, originality, and visual appeal within the realm of contemporary swing orchestras. They collaborate with the best jazz musicians in France to revive the golden era of jazz music.

The orchestra performs at major jazz clubs in Paris, including the Maison de la Radio, various festivals, and abroad, in countries like New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium.

The concert by the Paris Swing Orchestra will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 8:30 pm at the town hall in Plémet (Côtes-d’Armor). Tickets can be purchased at local establishments, and reservations can be made via email.
