In the second part of her interview on the show “Conversations,” the actress opened up about the women and experiences that shaped her personality. She also talked about how she fell in love with her future husband back in high school.

During her appearance on “Conversations” by Madame Figaro, Ana Girardot discussed the influential figures in her life, from Alice Guy to Céline Sallette. Her grandmother held a special place among them. “I had a wonderful childhood with her,” the actress shared. “She brought me a lot – joy, a sense of adventure. A Strong Determination
The resilience instilled by her grandmother guided Ana Girardot throughout her career. Despite facing obstacles and self-doubt at times, the actress reiterated her strong belief in her capabilities. “Who has the right to decide what I’m capable of?” she questioned. “I have great conviction when I believe in something, and it took me many years to acquire it.” This confidence enabled Ana Girardot to establish herself as an actress and filmmaker.
However, even with her self-assurance, Ana Girardot admitted to feeling anxious about social media, considering it a source of inner dysmorphophobia. “I’m on the verge of leaving Instagram,” she shared. “It creates an internal distortion. We end up comparing ourselves. There are many moments when I think, if only I could detach from it, even just for a few months, to see what happens…”
Describing herself as “a hopeless romantic,” Ana Girardot recounted her high school encounter with her husband. “He was smoking a cigarette outside a different high school that I was supposed to attend,” she recalled. “I changed my plans to go to that school and see him, meet him. I was convinced he would one day become my husband.” Despite the initial risk, the couple married in 2008 and reaffirmed their vows in 2020. They have two children together, a son born in 2020 and a daughter born in 2024.
