From March 22 to 24, 2026, the Spring of Cinema offered tickets at 5 euros, an initiative implemented by the National Federation of French Cinemas (FNCF) which gathers the 6,000 dark rooms in France. Although the operation saw a decrease, spectators were still twice as numerous to go to the cinema as on weekdays of the previous week. “Attendance growth was +74% on Sunday, +94% on Monday, and +115% on Tuesday,” said the FNCF.
The films with the highest number of entries, between March 22 and 24, 2026, are: “Les rayons et les ombres” by Xavier Giannoli, “Projet dernière chance” by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, “Police Flash 80” by Jean-Baptiste Saurel, “Le crime du 3e étage” by Rémi Bezançon, “Victor comme tout le monde” by Pascal Bonitzer, “Marsupilami” by Philippe Lacheau, “La Maison des femmes” by Melisa Godet, “Jumpers” by Daniel Chong, “Les K d’Or” by Jeremy Ferrari, “Scream 7” by Kevin Williamson, “La Guerre des prix” by Anthony Dechaux, and “Chers Parents” by Emmanuel Patron.
According to the FNCF, this edition of the Spring of Cinema “confirms the success of cinema attendance since the beginning of 2026, with a growth of 20% since January 1, compared to 2025.” “This recovery even started in December 2025, with results equaling pre-crisis years,” specified the federation.
