At the end of a journey marked by numerous victories in the patronage and the veto, daily reality TV star Marie-Ève Beauregard had to leave the Big Brother Celebrity House on Sunday, not without trying to come back with the second chance challenge against her evil twin, her number one ally, Félix Dolci. It was ultimately the Olympian who made his return to the stage, to the great surprise of the players still in the adventure.
Showbizz.net spoke with Marie-Ève this Wednesday, as the reality TV filming ended this week. We took the opportunity to talk to her about the subject that is on everyone’s lips, her romantic relationship with Félix. Although their relationship started on day 43, it wasn’t until Félix’s eviction that Marie-Ève informed the other players about their bond.
“We had a really good team and for us, it’s important that the game remains the game, not to impose anything on anyone. It was our business,” she explained. “Big Brother isn’t about that at the core, and it was really important for us that it remains the game the priority. I think that’s what stands out. We wanted to be seen as, and we still want to be seen as, players of Big Brother, players who formed a strong duo, who made moves together, who worked strategically.”
She mentioned that adjustments were initially made by the production to hide their relationship on screen: “We know what we’re going through. It’s our business. We tried a lot and we also allowed the production to eliminate it as much as possible. After that, the production told us that it was no longer possible to avoid us. So we said ‘Well, that’s it.’ We had more conversations. There were times when we redid parts to make sure nothing was noticeable.”
“People didn’t really know,” she added. “But they suspected. We had a great bond, but we didn’t want to flaunt it in front of others.”
However, the reality TV star confirms that she wants to see where things will lead with the gymnast: “Well yes, we’ll see about that, but for now, that’s how it is. And you know, you will see other images in the final confessional, they announced it.”
Indeed, the production is preparing a montage of moments that were not shown on screen between Marie-Ève and Félix, promising to make us experience beautiful emotions.
“It’s been a beautiful bond for us and being a good team, and I think that’s it. We didn’t see it coming so much either, and I think maybe people saw that bond more than we did, but we have always been a good team, good communication work. Both of us have a lot of respect for each other, there is a lot of mutual support,” she concluded.
The Big Brother Celebrity finale will be aired on Sunday, March 29 at 6:30 pm on Noovo. The final confessional will be shown in the same episode as the finale this year.
