On December 24, 2024, in the midst of the holiday season, a fire destroyed the bread oven at the bakery “C Romain” in Gramat. After three months of struggle and rumors of bankruptcy, Romain and Anaës stayed strong. A year later, they are participating in the show “La Meilleure Boulangerie de France” on M6.
The popular M6 show “La meilleure boulangerie de France” is back in Lot. This Thursday, March 26, the shop “C Romain” in Gramat will participate in the competition for the second time. This edition represents a triumph for these resilient artisans.
In Gramat, the New Year’s Eve of 2024 turned into a nightmare for the bakery of Anaës Ritter and Romain Comte. An electric fire in the bakery changed everything. During the three months of closure, the team was on temporary unemployment. Despite the challenges, they returned stronger and reopened in March 2025.
The bakery in Gramat had previously participated in the M6 show two years ago. While they were eliminated in the first round, it was a valuable learning experience. Now, they are back in the competition, motivated to show their resilience and passion to their customers.
Romain Comte and Pauline Real will represent the bakery in the latest edition of the show filmed in December. This time, they are introducing new products to enrich their shop’s offerings and are excited for the challenge. The episode will air on Thursday, March 26 at 6:35 pm on M6.
